Versa-Line Services is a very busy wireline company and is actively looking for Experienced Slickline Operator positions in Grand Prairie, Alberta
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Provide a driver abstract
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass drug screen upon client request or at irregular intervals
Responsibilities – Include but are not limited to:
- Complete driver evaluation
- Able to work out of town for up to 15 days
- Able to lift 50 lbs with long periods of standing
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Keep up to date electronic drivers log book
- Keep up to date electronic timesheet
- Perform electronic pre / post trip paperwork on heavy units, pickups and trailers
- Drive units to location following all laws and DOT regulations
- Spot and document hazards in the field and shop area
- Perform maintenance / service all types of company vehicles with supervision
- Assist supervisors with pre- job planning and preparation
- Assist supervisors with safe execution of wireline interventions
- Rebuild basic wireline tools under supervision
Minimum Training Requirements
- H2S Certificate
- AB & BC First Aid
- Valid class 3 license with Q endorsement
- Additional Training Certificates are a bonus
Compensation for Position
- Guaranteed monthly salary
- Hourly rate while in field and in shop
- Benefit package – after 3-month evaluation period
